A Holistic Treatment Philosophy
What Makes Our Practice Different
We provide thoughtful, personalized mental health care for adults, combining medication management with a deeper, more holistic approach. Our goal is to help you feel better in a way that fits your life and lasts over time.
Seeking help for your mental health can feel overwhelming, especially when appointments feel brief or impersonal.
Here, the focus is different.
We take the time to listen, to understand your full story, and to look beyond just symptoms. While medication can be an important part of treatment, we believe it works best when it’s part of a more complete picture.
By integrating modern psychopharmacology with mindfulness and lifestyle techniques, we provide a holistic path toward sustainable recovery and emotional resilience.

He has expertise in depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, BPD, OCPD, LGBTQ+ populations, substance use disorders, men's health, and sexual health. Phillip utilizes a holistic approach to treatment, incorporating medication and non-medication treatments, medical evaluation, mindfulness, lifestyle management, exercise, nutrition, and therapy.
I grew up in Washington State, and my path has taken me through New York, Washington D.C., and now Denver—each place introducing me to new people and perspectives that shape the way I listen and connect. Before I found my way to medicine, I worked in management and director roles in retail and banking. Those years taught me a lot about real-life problems, earning trust, and showing up for people from all walks of life.
My journey into healthcare began at CU Boulder, where I studied Integrative Physiology, and continued at George Washington University for my Physician Associate training. After graduating, I came back to Colorado and spent several years as a primary care provider. In Family Medicine, I developed a strong foundation in general medicine and saw firsthand how deeply physical and mental health are intertwined.
Over time, I realized that the work that moved me most was sitting with patients as they navigated their mental health. I felt a genuine calling to focus my energy there, which led me to devote my practice fully to psychiatry so I could be more present and helpful to people in these vulnerable moments.
To better support my patients, I pursued additional psychiatric training through Harvard University and completed a Master of Psychopharmacology Certificate with the Neuroscience Education Institute. I continue to grow my skills with ongoing learning in integrative approaches, holistic treatments, and counseling techniques so that care can be thoughtful, thorough, and tailored to each person.
At the heart of my work is a belief in empathy, collaboration, and curiosity. My goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and genuinely partnered with as we navigate your path toward healing together.

Life Beyond the Office
When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll find me exploring Colorado, visiting family and friends across the globe, and engaging in fun activities. Some of the things I enjoy include finding new and interesting food spots, cooking/baking, art, design, exercise, escape rooms, reading fantasy and sci-fi books, collecting textiles and ceramics, pets (mine and stranger's), and traveling as often as I can.

Medication Management
Professional clinical oversight focused on the safe, effective management of psychiatric medications to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes with balanced support.
Telehealth Consultations
